Anime Lovers of the World, UNITE!!!!! =D

It was Awesome!

So my sister and I went and bought Alibi in Ashes the Thursday after it came out. We were so excited. We always play the new games together, it's like tradition. We got it and installed the new game on our iMac and once it was installed we played it all afternoon! I think we set a new personal record for a game that we had never played before! We started it at about 2 and finished around 8! (We used hints once.) Sadly at the end of the game the sound  started being weird. I know though that this error was not Her Interactive's fault but Apple's!! The computer had overheated. My old pc never overheats and I can play older ND games on it! I really love this thing. I wonder if it knows??? Maybe I should get it a new wall paper or something....

The new game, coming out in July of 2012 (so far away!!!), is in (as many have hoped for) Egypt!! The Lost Queen is the name of this long awaited trip to far away lands for Nancy. I have a question! In how many Nancy Drew trailer do they show Nancy dying??? I think there have a few.... This trailer is one of them. Anyway, my first impression is that it looks like every other game in Egypt in the world (I have played quite a few...) but 100 times better because it has Nancy!!! YAY!!!

More Than TWO MONTHS!!!!

Yes, it's true... I haven't updated this site in two whole months! I really have no excuse... sorry!

Well, we have a new Nancy Drew game coming out soon! Alibi in Ashes (ASH)!! This is the 25th game! In this game Nancy has finally returned home to River Heights! Soon what she thought would be a peaceful trip home will end up in a tough case! In fact, Nancy gets arrested!! Luckily Chief McGinnis, giving Nancy the benefit of the doubt, turns a blind eye and lets her investigate from inside the Police Station. We'll get to play as Bess, George, Ned (!!!), and Nancy! This mystery will be filled with more adventure and intrigue then ever before!

Even though it seems like the perfect, but sad, ending (Not nancy getting arrested but her finally going home.) to this wonderful game series I am pleased to say that this will not be the last game!

I always say that I'm going to pre-order the games but this time I'm actually going to!! When you pre-order this game you are automatically entered in a contest. If you win you will get to be "CEO" for a day! They will fly you out to Washington and let you come to the HerInteractive building!! You get to have lunch with the staff and talk about the next ND game!!! They will also give you any ND game that you don't already own! I'm so excited! It's Been To Long...

Hello awesome people! It has been to long and that is all my fault. I wasn't real busy, I just didn't update. Sorry!

Well, I'm back now! and I finally have stuff to talk about!

I went and saw the LAST Harry Potter movie! It was freakin' AWESOME!!! I love Professor McGonagall in this one! my sister and I were like "Go awesome, old lady!!!" haha! It was funny when Voldemort was inviting people to come join him and Draco walked up and Voldemort hugged him! It was so WEIRD!! You could tell Draco was really uncomfortable, It was Hilarious! My sister was really nice and took me to see the movie and she wouldn't let me pay for snacks. She said, "No, this is your Harry Potter night. You don't have to pay." It was really nice cuz I love HP but she LOVES HP. See the difference? haha! You know how when you spell something wrong on your computer it puts a red line under it, right? My screen is covered with red from all of the names and stuff! haha!

Last night my friend came over and spent the night. We built an awesome fort! I'm actually in it right now! I'm gonna keep it up all week long! YAY!!! I got my friend hooked on the Harry Potter Puppet Pals videos last night. Have you guys seen those? They are hilarious! Just search them on YouTube!

I am so excited! My birthday is on Sunday! I'm turning 13! I can't wait! I'm having a sleepover party with 2 of my best friends on Friday and so I went to the Dollar Tree to get some decorations. I saw two of the funniest things EVER while I was there! So there were these 3 guys and they were like 15 or so and they were in front of us (my dad was with me) at the checkout counter. They bought like 5 things of Sunny D! One of them was saying "I just really want Sunny D." I was thinking 'Really? I hadn't noticed.' haha! I then saw one of the people who worked there come in and he had obviously just gotten back from a break or something. He had a Gatorade and was in front of us... dancing! It was so funny! I had to try hard to not burst out laughing! It was a funny day!

So I went to church on Saturday and I went to the Jr.High group. Instead of having our usual service there we went up to the High school group and they shared about their mission trip. The had just gotten back on Friday. They had gone to L.A. So, they told stories of some awesome stuff that happened. The coolest thing that happened, I think, was when they were collecting money for some organization (I don't know which one but I think it was to help the homeless.) and they got like $40. Doesn't seem like a lot, right? Apparently God thought it wasn't enough. They went to meet with someone from the organization and the guy counted the money and said, "Wow, $110." They were shocked and asked him if that was really how much there was and he said yeah. It was like when Jesus made the bread multiply so it could feed all of the people. It was just so cool.

I have a friend that's going on a mission trip to Ireland. She's leaving on Friday. We would all (my family and her family) would greatly appreciate if you could pray for her! We want her to have a safe trip and we hope that she has an awesome, fun time! Thank you so much!

Camping and Two Lumps!

Hi! I know I don't post a whole bunch but there definitely won't be anything this weekend because I'm going camping! Going what? CAMPING!!! WOOT WOOT!!! We're going up to Sylvan Lake! It is so pretty there and we bring a hummingbird feeder and they actually come! It's so cool! It's really hard to get a picture of a hummingbird, REALLY hard to get a good one... That should totally be one of my life goals!

Do you guys like comics? Well, I do! I've read the classics like Garfield, Blondie, all that other stuff in the Sunday paper. They really aren't all that funny... For years my favorite has been Calvin and Hobbs. I love that comic and read it all the time! I'll have to post the story of how my bro accidentally gave me those books... I'll do that another time. So my bro showed me this awesome new online (and in print!) comic! Two Lumps: The Adventures of Eben and Snooch. It's about these two cats! Have you ever seen Pinky and the Brain? It's kind of like that but SO much better! For the first part, it's cats not rats! Cats are better and you know it. Snooch is the fat, dumb cat, who loves to eat! (and drink... yeah those New Year's comic strips are crazy!) Eben is the slim(ish), smart cat. It's a great comic! It's kind of a sad time though because the two cats that the comic is based off of, Raistlin and Caramon, died. At least they're together and died purring.

THE CAPTIVE CURSE!!!!!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! (excited, not angry!) I just got The Captive Curse from Best Buy! It is installing as we, uhhh, I ... type... YAY!! Thank you awesome Best Buy dude who helped me get the game! Thank you mom for driving to 2 Best Buys so I could get this game! Thank you HerInteractive for making my reason to thank all of the other people! THANK YOU AWESOME PEOPLE OF THE WORLD!!!!

I got a hamster today!!!! HE is the cutest thing IN THE WORLD!!!!!!!! He's a roborovski hamster! (My computer makes roborovski as wrong. lol!) He is ADORABLE!!!  He's kind of scared of my hand but after a few days I'm sure he'll be fine. I took him out of the little box and he jumped ff my hand and I had to catch him like 3 times before I got him in the cage! It was funny! I LOVE HIM!!!

In Love With the World

Hi! I found another walkthrough and it goes farther then arglefumphs so far but it still has to be finished. It's by this awesome girl on youtube called shortsillynerdgirl! I love her videos! We get pretty up close with the monster and that kid pulls a stupid and cruel prank. Thanks to Nancy though he doesn't get far!

I have an awesome aunt who has traveled to a lot of differnt countries! She sent me a bunch of stuff! She sent a purse that is half purse half cute yorkie puppy stuffed animal! (I can't imagine an occasion where I would use that but I'm determined to find one!)  An awesome Paris t-shirt, a Paris pen (It's such a cool pen!), A book of pictures of cats which I think is from Japan, an Eiffel Tower key chain, and awesome kitty toe socks! (I'll have to post a pic some time.) I love all of my special stuff! Love you aunt Liz! <3

FREAKING OUT!!!!

As you can tell from the title I am FREAKING OUT!!! Arglefumph (Michael Grey) is gone until Saturday! You might be thinking I'm crazy but this is sadness for all of you to! So I said that if I found A walkthrough for The Captive Curse I would read it beacause you guys deserve the full scoop, right? Well... I found something better! A video walkthrough by Arglefumph! If you are the type who doesn't think you should use hints or a walkthrough or anything like that maybe you shouldn't read this post... I watched the videos! He only has 6 of them up but there should be more soon. Don't be mad I just REALLY wanted to know...

New info on CAP!
Nancy's cell phone changed! We haven't got much of a chance to use it yet because the reception is AWFUL. The old guy, Karl likes dolls and thinks that german games are the best games... We not only have to play games with the little kid but he pulls pranks on us as well! The air line lost Nancy's luggage AGAIN! We have a maze! In the words of all of those who have played Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake, dang it! We alos get something else from Ghost Dogd! A fire! Something that has NEVER happened in the history of Nancy Drew games! A fight with Ned! I think Ned had made plans for a trip with Nancy or something... =(

Nancy Drew 25!!!

So I don't have The Captive Curse but I do have information! I've been cheating for you guys and looking at second chances and easter eggs and stuff like that. I haven't been able to find a walkthrough but I'm looking cuz you guys have to have the inside scoop! I'm still sorry that I didn't pre-order it. Ready for the information? If you don't want to have anything spoiled for you then perhaps you should skip this part... I'm gonna try to be subtle and not give away to much.

We're DEFINITELY going to be doing some snooping and we're gonna have to be very, very careful... I'll give you a hint why. zZ zZ zZ...  There's going to be a furnace, and it's HOT! It's a TRAP!!! We're gonna be playing with some pointy gate... better be careful! We have another game with a kid! We have to play with this one to and (hehe) we have to (MEGA SPOILER!!!) save him at the end! We have to identify the culprit, Nancy is not going to tell us... We are going to have a run in with that mysterious necklace... *awesome, mysterious music*

I'm done talking about game 24. How about we talk about  #25, sound good?

We've gotten what we all wanted! A game in River Heights!  It's called Alibi in Ashes. As I hear it, we have to help Nancy keep her ace detective status when something at a fire station goes TERRIBLY wrong!

Only One Murder?!?!

I got Owl City's new album today! It is awesome!!! I LOVE it!!!!!! I e-mailed Adam Young today and I hope he answers!! That would be like the coolest thing ever! It would actually be cooler if he followed my blog!! That would be the COOLEST thing ever!!!! I'm actually listening to him right now! I love the song: Plant Life! It is probably my favorite of his but it's so hard to tell!

So, obviously Adam has nothing to do with murder so what in the world is my main subject today? Nancy Drew! So everyone always says that Secrets Can Kill (Original and Remastered) is the only Nancy Drew game that has a murder in it. I have to object! #17 Legend of the Crystal Skull has a murder. It was an accidental one but it still counts. We didn't go there to solve a murder but, ultimately, that's what we ended up doing. and then we have The Captive Curse. We don't know exactly what is going on yet but we know there must have been a murder of a young lady and we must keep Nancy from meeting the same fate...

Yesterday was the last day of pre-orders for The Captive Curse! I have a surprise and it's not a good one. I didn't get it! They didn't have it on Amazon and my parents didn't want to make an account with HER Interactive. =( Well at least it comes out in stores really soon! June 28th! YAY!!!

So if you are a fan of OWL CITY (Adam Young) then you will LOVE this news! On the 14th his new album, All Things Bright and Beautiful, came out on iTunes! It is an awesome album! I love it!

Has anyone here seen Pirates of the Caribbean: 4? I haven't! I really want to though... it looks sooo good and I've heard great things about it! Until about 2 weeks ago I hadn't seen numbers 2 and 3 so I made my bro bring them over and we watched them. Those are great movies!

HER Interactive, this is for you.

I am currently in a "battle" with HER Interactive. (Whether they know it or not I'm not sure. haha!) They have decided not to release a demo or mini game (and apparently character profiles!) for The Captive Curse. I personally think this is a huge mistake on their part.

A DEMO of a game is like a sample at an ice cream shop!  You're not sure whether you'll like the raspberry mango gelato so you get a taste of it. If you like it the shop makes a sale, if you didn't you try another or maybe you just leave. HER I'm saying that you could make more sales because curiosity might get the best of the customer or you could lose sales because the customer might say "If I can't taste it then I don't want to waste my money on it." or "I'll just go to someone else."

On to the next point MINI GAME. A mini game is for someone who just wants the tinniest bit of a sip of this miraculous soda. (Really on a junk food high here, huh!) They don't even want to know what it tastes like, they just want something because they are thirsty! They want to know that there is something there to quench they're thirst when they come home. They want reassurance!

3rd point! CHARACTER PROFILES! When you go to a restaurant you look at the menu, the different delectable dishes there before you order. You don't just walk in and say "I want fettuccine alfredo  and a coke." You don't go to solve a mystery without learning at least the tinniest bit about your suspects! You want to know what you're eating, who you're dealing with.

I heard the reason you didn't provide these pieces of the puzzle is because some people thought the demos give away to much. First of all, there was nothing about the others in that complaint, just the demo. Second of all, no one is forcing anyone to download the demo, play the mini game, and read the character profiles. I posted a much shorter version of this on Face Book and some one commented, and I quote, "I completely agree! I'm not excited for CAP anymore. I feel like we are being punished for some reason" Do you want your customers, the Nancy Drew fans, to feel this way? I don't want you to feel like I'm trying to offend you or blackmail you or anything but this makes me sad and upset because I have been a Nancy Drew fan all my life and I look forward to these things as soon as I see the trailer at the end one of the games. I hope that you read this and reconsider your decision.

Pick One!!!

I know I'm probably driving all of you crazy with all of this bird talk but I'm gonna talk about it anyway! I've been reading A New Owner's Guide to Lovebirds by Nikki Moustaki and It has got to be the best book on Lovebirds ever! She  talks about the history of the birds, basic care, breeding, showing, EVERYTHING!! It's awesome! I would suggest looking her up if you are considering getting any kind of pet. Her website is www.goodbird.com It's a great site!

So, yeah my dad still doesn't want a bird. It would be be in my room and he wouldn't even have to see it! Hear it however I cannot promise... I think he's fighting for no reason. He didn't like Wolf, my hamster, at first but soon came to love the little guy, (Not sure were I got the word love from that relationship... He didn't hate him...) I gotta tell you all what happened when I got Wolf! It's a hilarious story! (I think!)

My dad was gone on a business trip and I really wanted a pet. I talked to my mom and she said that I should start with an easier pet so  I decided on a hamster. I started doing extra things around the house and searching the furniture for change. Soon I had enough so I went to Petsmart and picked out the shy little hamster hiding behind the little purple house. They had me put my hand by him to see if he would bite me and he didn't. I was so happy! We got home and I set up the cage and put him in there and watched him on little squeaky wheel. He was just adorable! I went downstairs and heard my mom talking on the phone to my dad. She told him that I got a hamster. His response: "I'm gonna call you back." *click*. I was worried that he was gonna make me get rid of my little fluffy friend but he didn't. It took him a while to get used to him but soon my dad was amused when Wolf would run around in his hamster ball.

Back to my birdie! I told my parents that I could by a bird or THEY could buy me a dog (I've given up on cats because my mom had a traumatizing experience with her sister's cat when she was little.) and they actually started disscussing getting a dog!!! Then my dad said "We're not getting another dog." I wonder if he's realized the other end of that or maybe he just has selective hearing when I talk about birds... Well I've decided that I'm getting a bird do I'm gonna do JUST THAT!!!

I'm Taking It as a Yes!

Hello all you awesome people out there! I'm so happy and excited! The Captive Curse is out for pre-orders! If you haven't pre-ordered it yet then you should! I'm apparently telling myself that because I haven't pre-ordered it yet. I'm still paying my mom back for the Ds... I think I was getting on her nerves talking about it all the time... Like I've said before It's my excitement and I can use it on whatever I want to! I'm also super excited because I'm going to get a green parakeet and name it Loulou! Every time I ask my dad he makes jokes about eating it. (Don't worry, he wouldn't actually do it. He won't eat our dog either...) It seems like a no but I didn't hear that word and in all of his joke I own a bird so I'm getting a bird!

We're having our fence replaced so we can't let the dog out and it's making him go crazy! Now he can see all of the dogs pass by and he wants to go them! He's started howling at night... Not sure why but he has...

I'm going to go clean my room so I can see my friend tomorrow! I hate cleaning...

 The Captive Curse

A girl running for her life. A victim already killed. Another gruesome chapter being written of a long horror story. A terrifying beast. An evil curse.

These are all key elements from HerInteractive’s next game, The Captive Curse.

Will this a be a gruesome game? More so then Secrets Can Kill? Minor questions if you ask me. The real mystery is what is this monster terrorizing these poor, helpless people? Will this beast come after Nancy?

Is it a scientist with anger issues? A boy skilled with mechanics and shadow puppets? A woman who thinks an object of legend is destined to be hers? Or is it possible that there really is a curse that has brought a horrific beast with it?

                        There’s only one way to find out. Do you dare to play, The Captive Curse? 

Straight Answers Don't Existist!

It's totally true and I can't stand it! You all know about my Loulou problem. I was excited because my dad started acting like he might actually be considering letting my a bird. I asked if my thought was a fact and he atarted to say what I think was a yes and then made it a joke. (I hope...) I'm not sure if I'm going to name her Loulou. I might have to name her (It might end up being a him.) Tweety (2nd best bird in the world!) because Nat wants to name her bird Loulou. Either way, I might get a bird! =D

Pre-orders for the Captive Curse start tomorrow! YAY!!! I will also be posting some fun, interesting stuff! Ok it's only one. (That I know of but you never know. lol!)

I started playing Secret of Shadow Ranch last night and I LOVE that game! I got to day 2 and then I took it out to watch a movie and half way through the movie my computer started acting like the dying piece of junk it is! (Not at the end because my computer hates me! If you're reading this it's a miracle!) I took the movie out after a long and tiring battle with my computer and put the game back in and, SURPRISE, it didn't work! I had another battle with my computer and it won so I returned the game to the library. It's sad because I really like that game... Now I'm playing White Wolf of Icicle Creek. It's a good game but it's not my favorite. I'm SO excited for The Captive Curse because I've played all of the others a lot recently!

I have to (by my own choice, don't worry) post a poem Shel Silverstein that makes my think of my Loulou problem. I'm making a few minor (Haha, they're minor but there are lots of them!) changes to fit to my life. Hope you guys enjoy it!

Haha! Luckily my life isn't that bad! That made me laugh and now I think I'll go show it to my dad.

Loulou, why can't I have you?

I am sooo excited because it's almost June!!!! YAY for The Captive Curse!! I'm also really sad though.

My hamster, Wolf, died a few weeks ago and I was (and still am) so sad. I cried in my room for an hour and then we buried him in our backyard. I loved him so much. I have really been wanting another pet since then. We have an adorable miniature australian shepherd named Scout but he is my dad's dog and I want a pet of my own. I asked if I could have a cat. No. I asked if I could have a dog. No. I asked if I could have a bird. No. (I love horses but I don't really want one...) I really want a green parakeet. I would name her Loulou. I could teach her to talk and sing. She would make me happy.

That's enough about my problems. I hope you all have wonderful, adorable pets that make you happy.

Second, HerInteractive like my blog and is going to include it on their "More Nancy Drew" section!! Last and (in my opinion) most exciting, I might be on season 11 of American Idol!!! My cuz Phillip is going to audition (maybe...) and promised ot take me with him!!!! I might get to meet the judges! I might get to hug J-Lo!!!!!! (HOLY FREAKIN' COW!!!!!) Sorry bout' that.... I'm just sooo excited!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all will definitely see me in season 13! Thank you JB for lowering the age-limit to 15!

More Nancy Drew

I'm totally freaking out! I just signed up to have my blog posted under the "More Nancy Drew" section of HerInteractive's website! I'm sooo nervous because that would be a huge thing for me! You may be asking "Howl? What's howling?" Well, that's just it, we don't know. Yes I am talking about The Captive Curse. I watched the trailer that you see after finishing Shadow at the Water's Edge again and noticed something interesting! The howl is the same as the one as in The White Wolf of Icicle Creek! Is Isis getting hungry?!?! haha!

I now have 5 gym badges in Pokemon Diamond!

GRUESOME!!!

I really suck at this whole blog everyday thing, huh? oh well.

HER came out with a new trailer for The Captive Curse! My question now is: Is this going to be a gruesome game?!?!

In the Trailer you see a girl in the woods when suddenly seh starts running away from something! From what, we don't know. We then see her pounding on a gate and then she is pulled in to the darkness with on last scream... Who is this terrified girl? What is this mysterious monster? These are all questions that will be answered by playing The Captive Curse... *mysterious awesome soundaffects*

I forgot to mention that during this Nancy is talking about a beast that destroys everyone and everything in it's path... Is this going to be another Kapu Cave, where it was all just a scientist with anger issues? Is a creepy doll paired with shadow puppets and a worried boy? A hidden treasure that no one else can know about? Or is there really some raging beast running about causing chaos?

I'm totally preordering the game so I can tell you all exactly what happens as soon as possible! Preorders start on June 1st and end June 15th. The game comes out on June 28th! YAY!!!

I missed 2 days!

It's true, I didn't post for the last 2 days... anyway!

 I can't remember wether I said this already or not but I FINALLY beat those grass/ bug pokemon! YAY!
I now have 3 gym badges! =D

Last night the WEIRDEST thing happened! My friend accidentally called 911! She hadn't dialed a 9 at all! It was creepy...

You may have been wondering about the picture above, well, that is the cover of The Captive Curse which comes out June 28th! YAY!!!! We should learn more about this game on the 28th of this month and I am so excited!!!

BUG POKEMON!!! and other stuff...

Nat and I just finished Last Train to Bluemoon Canyon! I got the Happy Wanderer Award for going everywhere there was to go and seeing everything there was to see!

I went and saw Thor today and it was AWESOME!!! They HAVE to make a second one!

I'm bummed because I just got my tail whipped by a bunch of BUG type pokemon!!! That is like the easiest kind to beat! AHHHHHHH! I'm alright...

The pleasure was all mine, child.

Haha! I just realized that I can add a title to these posts...

Don't worry, there's more that I have to say than that! Anyone out  there have a DS? I do and I love playing Nintendogs and Pokemon games! (It sounds like an ad but that isn't what it is...)

I love the prinplup!(I probably didn't spell that right...) He's as cute as picachu! (I'm awful at spelling but i really am a nerd, trust me...)Mine is named Tritan *heroic music* I love him! I know I'm a bit behind with this, I mean, they've come out with a whole new set! I really want the new black version but I owe my mom money. :(

Playing Agatha Christie: And Then There Were None with my good friend Sarah! It's a good game but you have to talk with people ALL THE TIME! that's most of the game... Murder on the Orient Express is better. We got tired of it so we stopped and don't know what to do... maybe we should watch arglefumph...

A few sites and people that you should look up.
nancydrewmania.com is great! It's run by Maryann and is one of my favorite sites!
On YouTube you should look up arglefumph. He does walkthroughs for lots of games, Nancy Drew is his specialty! He's sooo funny! My favorite walkthrough is Message in a Haunted Mansion!
Herinteractive.com is a place where you can look at all of the Nancy Drew games and order them! You can also play mini games and download demos.

We  should soon get more info on The Captive Curse! (That's Nancy Drew:24 for those of you that don't know.) YAY for character profiles, demos, and mini games!!!

My friend Nat and I are playing Last Train to Bluemoon Canyon over the phone! We call each other and each get on the game at our own houses and guide each other so that we are doing the same things. It's so much fun! We have already finished Curse of Blackmoor Manor that way!

A note about Blackmoor.
So everyone knows that that game has scenes that you don't see every time. It's all randomly generated, right? WRONG!!! THERE IS A METHOD TO THE MADNESS!!! *dun Dun DUN* I don't know what the method is but Nat and I did the exact same thing and we saw all the same scenes at all the same times!

Back to Bluemoon.
Nat and I are in Copper George and we were just about to sort taffy. Then we had to get off the phone. :( I'll be sure and update you on all of our games together!

I finished Danger on Deception Island yesterday and I got the award of:
Orienteering Expert for using the GPS to navigate difficult passageways!
YAY! I did use the GPS a lot...

I  started The White Wolf of Icicle Creek yesterday and I love the cooking in that game!

I thought I might want to mention that I have played and finished all of the games so I know what I'm doing.
